Leaders and Learners Consulting

Consulting with schools and districts on...

Effective practices with challenging students
Students with special needs present unique challenges to their parents, teachers, administrators, co-students, and all stake holders. Effective schools understand how every child can succeed, and develop the supports for success. Jeffrey works with schools on:
The IEP process
Facilitating effective Team meetings
Working with parents
Differentiated instruction
Teaching students with special needs

Effective leaders
A school is, above all else, a community of individuals. Schools work best when the individuals unite around common interests, communicate effectively, manage their inevitable differences, and understand the forces that can bring them together or pull them apart. Jeffrey works with leaders to improve:
Conflict resolution
Interpersonal communication skills
Program development
Team building
Supervision and mentoring

Effective teachers
School reform succeeds only as far as teachers bring skills,
enthusiasm, responsibility, respect, and clarity of purpose into
their relationships with students. Jeffrey works with teachers on:
Curriculum development and lesson planning
Assessment
Constructivist pedagogy
Social/emotional learning
Positive discipline
